The amount of sand in this is more than the leading brand provides. The color is blue and is a pretty color but the blue color did get all over my kids hands after playing in the sand but it washes off easily. I especially love that this product includes a blow up play area for the sand to go in as well as LOTS of accessories! The sand is moist and easy to mold.
