Finally

I have been on the hunt for a weighted blanket for a couple years now. Unfortunately, I haven't had much luck (until now) because of not being able to find the weight I needed, in a color that I liked, in a fabric that I liked. I finally order this one as a last ditch effort figuring that if it was that bad, I could get different fabric to cover it. It wouldn't be pretty but I was determined to make it work. 
I was relieved when it arrived and none of that was necessary. The material is soft and smooth so there are no texture issues with it for me. It is also a very nice, heavy weight. Everyone always suggests a lighter weight but I knew that my anxiety was going to be better handled by a heavier one. This blanket has saved me from countless panic attacks and minimized even more. It has been a true lifesaver and I refuse to travel (which I do entirely too much) without it.
I love that I can also wash the cover. Unfortunately, I have to let the cover air dry so I will most likely be looking for a second cover to switch between. Other than that - I have absolutely no complaints.
