Great set for Beginners!

I purchased this set because I make a lot of electronics repairs. Was not expecting much for the price but I must say that I am not disappointed. The case is tougher than I expected and everything fits nicely inside. The hold down straps are elastic, not Velcro, so it's a little struggle getting everything in and out but not bad. I was impressed with the pen iron which heated up very quickly compared to others I have owned. The solder sucker remover worked very well. I like the base holder with the spring attachment because you don't have to mess around with positioning the hot pen just right. There are only 2 things that I would have liked better ... A case that allows for keeping the stand intact, rather than having to disassemble it each time, and also a spot in the case for storage to keep more solder and extra wire in.
I would definatly reccomend this to anyone that is a beginner and wants a soldering set.
