My sisters and I love to bake cakes and decorate them, so when I saw this cake turntable, I just knew I had to get it. It is plastic and the plastic is a great thicker quality plastic. It has little rubber on the bottom of it so that it will not slip around as you are trying to decorate your cake, it will stay in place. It rotates very nicely and doesn't get stuck all so makes it with very smooth decorating. The turntable is a very pretty light purple in color. The best part out this is that it is dishwasher safe! So no having to hand wash it! I haven't found anything negative about it at all, I am very pleased with it.
