I guess I did not read the description closely enough but I was shocked to see how TINY this curling wand is! The heating element part is only a few inches long. For the price I expected a full size curling iron. This will do for crafts (I use a curling iron to straighten my embroiderly floss to make is smoother to work with). But I'm ver disappointed with the size of this curling wand. I'll read item descriptions more closely in the future (maybe).
