I never had a chance to use this. When it came to me, the adapter was broken. It was not the fault of the seller, it looks like amazon had broken it during transit. I also think that the mail person could have steped on it or smooshed it in some way. I have it at the computer fixers and they have said it was put back together and working out fine. I will update this review after I get it home and try it for my self.
