Ok, you gotta move your cheese on this one... They are nothing like your mom's sponges. But, they work really well and I like them. I especially like the heart shaped one for washing dishes. The other ones are great for scrubbing the sink or something spilled on the floor. You can't really wipe the table with them if that is what you use your sponge for, but for cleaning, they are great!
