You get a really good beam of light when you have this under the water. It helps a lot when you are using it in the lake like I do for my traps to see if anything is in them without having to pull them out and move them. Also I would love to test it out at the ocean and I plan to go this coming summer so I can't wait to see if it helps me find some awesome shells in the water at night.
