This does not extend far enough to hold iPhone 6 S plus without its case. OK so I took the case off my phone, put it on and attached to the vent. Aaand it fell on the freaking floor with my phone! Grip for the vent is not strong enough to hold it. Never again will I take off cover of my phone.
I did not try mounting it on my steering wheel since I don't like anything on it so I won't be able to tell how well it holds there. I am returning this
