Lots of fun

I purchased this as a birthday gift. The reason I chose it is because I don't know the child very well. I'm not sure what she is into, but I think any kid would love this mat and it's so unique that I was fairly sure that she didn't already have one. She loves it and so did the other kids at the party. We popped in the batteries and they started playing with it immediately. The animal sounds are adorable and it was fun watching them come up with different songs. The preloaded melodies are also a nice addition.
