Works really good. Be careful when you get close to your hands though, as the blades are extremely sharp. I'm not sure if they can go in the dishwasher because I don't have one, I wash everything by hand. I would suggest not putting in a dishwasher because it can cause the blades to rust over time. Just wash under the water and dry woth a cloth after. Comes with 2 peelers. 1 for tough skin of fruits and veggies and the other is good for cutting cores or blemishes.
