This is a very useful LED reading light. It has three different color temperature settings that range from warm to cool white, with the latter being the brightest. And WOW, this gets very bright when maxed out. The product rests over the monitor and the backing is a little on the heavy side, but still works well. However, you can use this product in places besides a monitor as long as it has a similar edge to rest over. Great for reading or even if you needed to illuminate a small area to find something. Maybe even detail work done at a desk such as model
