This small flashlight could actually be used as a weapon if one was being attacked. The brightness of this light would temporarily blind any assailant giving one the opportunity to escape, and leaving the assailant seeing spots for a while. For this reason, please do not try this to see if I'm right as it could cause temporary vision problems. I can stand at the end of my driveway and point this light to my back yard (which is a good 250 yards) and see perfectly. I'm sure it would lighten even further if not for my fence, and it's the perfect companion for fishing, camping or emergency. It comes with a rechargeable battery, storage case and is supposed to be 1000 lumens. I believe it really is. I highly recommend this to everyone, and grab an extra one for your car.
