My mother's KitchenAid stopped working and she needed a replacement, so I started researching and noticed this mixer was cheaper/better value, had better reviews, light weight, and used less counter space. I ordered this and she has loved every part of it- if it lasts more than 5 years (which is when her other mixer stopped), I highly recommend it.
