I love sitting down to a fresh homemade loaf of bread, especially when I have made it myself. When baking bread, using a proofing basket helps support the dough and prevents it from spreading out during the final rise. I really wanted this proofing basket because it is made from natural rattan and has a coiled pattern. It is a nice size at 11.8 inches and comes with a removable liner. I have the option of using the liner and making a plain loaf of bread or removing the liner and having one that has the imprint from the coils and making the bread look rustic.
