The packaging was sound. No troubles there. The item itself came in a pretty bare black box. There weren't any instructions, but you really don't need any. This was easy to assemble and even easier to use. The clamps that hold the phone in place are sturdy. Extremely easy to use and position how I need it. 10 out of 10!
