I am using this for my banjo stand and I am so pleased with it. Traditional guitar stands I already owned did not work well for my banjo as it is a heavyier bottom instrument. This stand supports the weight of my bango perfectly. It is light weitght but very sturdy. It is very stylish as well because it does not have all the extra bars that are not needed that have a tendancy to make a stand look gawky. I really love this stand and highly recommend it to any one looking for a nice guitar or banjo stand.
