Great buy

My green cheek conure has a habit of following me into the kitchen and jumping in dirty dishes as I try to clean them to give herself a bath. She's even gone as far as to fly into my head during a shower, even though she has a "bath bowl". She loves running water! To save my sanity, I bought her this little drinking fountain and she hopped right in as soon as I got it running. I wrapped the cord in vet wrap, to prevent her and my cockatiel from chewing into it. It's on top of her cage and connected to a remote control outlet, all I have to do is push a button in the evenings and it turns itself off. She's very excited in the mornings for me to turn it on and has taken a few daily baths already. My cockatiel is afraid of it, and doesn't understand what all the excitement is about. I'm sure once he calms down he will be drinking and bathing out of it. I haven't had it very long, but I will be replacing the water daily and cleaning the filter! It's a perfect size for my parrot. I super recommend this unconventional use for this water bowl. My showers will never be the same again. Overall great buy and I highly recommend.
