This backpack is very well made, so many pockets  and can hold a lot. I purchased this for my grandson back to school because is his first year with text books and work books, he needed a solid backpack and I know from experience that hiking backpack was the answer. Cute character backpacks  tend to break halfway through the school year and this backpack is made to hold a lot, has an emergency whistle and adjustable straps.
