I was really excited to try this dress on. I've been looking for a few new lightweight summer dresses and this one looked really cute. The material is thicker than I expected, but still breathable, and it definitely has a textured feel to it. In the picture the "sailcloth yellow" looks great, but after trying it on I realized the model has probably the only skin tone this color would look good on. In person, the color is like a warm yellow-orange, but it has a weird hint of greenish-Grey that even against my natural neutral skin tone, it made me look like I was ill. I really wanted to love this dress, but the strange color just didn't look right on me. The design through me off too. I'm 5'4" about 150 lbs, and most of my extra weight is in my hips, butt, and thighs, so I'm use to outfits being too small around those areas, but this dress was the opposite. It was actually a little too loose around my stomach, but even with the elastic rousing across the back, the material that went across my chest was too tight, and totally flattened my already small size Bs. It felt like they didn't cut enough material for that area. So overall this dress just didn't work for me, but that's me. It looks great on the model, so it might look good on someone with her build.
