I ordered these sponges because I like to use reusable products when possible. We don't own a dishwasher so I wash a lot, and I mean a lot of dishes for our family of 5. Here is what I like about these sponges:
1- They actually do pretty well against stuck on food etc. I was surprised by this aspect.
2- You can rinse them and they dry well overnight. I feel like they are much cleaner to use then the ordinary sponge that starts to stink rather quickly.
3- You can boil them to clean disinfect.
What I don't like:
1- They don't replace a sponge or rag for wiping down counters or your table. You'll still need something for that since they don't pick up food etc off the counter, they just push it around.
2- I use more dish soap when I wash with these since the soap runs out rather quickly. I suppose that also means the icky stuff from your dishes also is washed away rather than getting stuck inside your sponge...
Overall I do recommend. I won't solely use these sponges but it will make the regular ones I have last longer due to less frequent and less rigorous use.
