The plate frame installed easily and securely. The silicone is soft but seems sturdy. I purchased this mostly to protect the car's finish where the rear plate mounts and also to cover/protect the mounting screws which I hope will prevent them from rusting out. The holder provides a full view of the plate and yearly renewal stickers won't require any effort to get on. All in all, well worth the money.
