I am amazed how sharp my knives are now. You can sharpen almost anything. I sharpened my scissors that were so dull I was going to throw away, but not now. It was alittle hard to hold just because I have bad arthritis but my son didn't have any problems. Definitely a good buy and can be used even for your outdoor tools too!
