The Potensic U42 drone was simple, from setup to flying, my thirteen year old son didn't have any problems with it. There are step by step instructions that are easy to follow. Only thing I would change about it is manufacturing it's own screen with the controller instead of having to use a device that doesn't come with it.
I highly suggest the Potensic U42 for a gift to any beginning drone users for the following reasons:
1. Price is fair.
2. Easy setup!
3. It's light weight!
4. You can set up your flight path on your controlling device!
5. My son, whom isn't the biggest fan of complicated drones, actually enjoyed playing with this one!
Update: BUY extra battery!!!! Battery life is short but still an excellent drone!
