beautifully designed umbrella

I feel like I am constantly buying umbrellas to keep in my vehicle for rainy weather. Either they are too small to be effective at keeping me totally dry or one really good gust of wind sends them flying inside out and leaves them damaged beyond repair. I also hate having an umbrella that gets soaking wet and drips water all over the place while it takes forever to dry. I decided to give this umbrella from ANHEL a try because I really liked to beautiful design on the fabric. I chose the white umbrella with the purple design. The picture is the Eiffel Tower and a lovely Paris cityscape with a tree, a couple of boats, some remarkable buildings and a water scene. They also offer a different color choice which is equally as gorgeous as this umbrella. It is a black fabric umbrella with a white design of the Eiffel Tower. The umbrella comes packaged in a sturdy frosted plastic box which is nice if you are planning on giving this as a gift. I would absolutely gift this umbrella to someone because who wouldn't appreciate a good looking and functional gift? A fabric zippered storage case is also included to store and protect the umbrella while it is not in use. When I took the umbrella out, I immediately noticed a very strong odor which I assume is from the Teflon coating. It smells similiar to the water repellent spray that we use on our tents. It was quite overwhelming to me so I opened the umbrella and hung it up outside to let it air out for several hours which helped a bit with the odor.  I like that the umbrella is large enough for two adults to fit comfortably underneath while still remain lightweight and compact enough to toss in my shopping bag. The umbrella measures 11 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches wide while it is closed. It measures 40 inches wide and 22 inches tall when fully extended. It has a metal snap closure strap to secure it when folded. The umbrella opens and closes easily with a push button on the handle. The umbrella's shaft is made from sturdy stainless steel painted black. The black plastic handle has a textured surface for added grip and a 5 inch long nylon carrying strap. The umbrella's fabric is coated with Teflon to repel rain and help it dry quickly. It also has a high UV rating so it can be used to block the sun's rays while I am at the beach, sporting events, boating, etc. The 9 fiberglass ribs are reinforced and flexible so that the umbrella will not turn inside out or break in heavy winds. This is a nice quality umbrella with a beautiful design on it. I used it Sunday on a shopping trip to the grocery store while it was raining. I was able to use it to walk a lady out to her car who had forgotten to take her umbrella into the store with her and both of us stayed completely dry. She thanked me and complimented me on the design of the umbrella. I am very pleased with my purchase so far
