My girlfriend said the lighting in my room was not ideal for putting makeup on, as she had to go from the mirror in my room to the mirror in the bathroom, back and forth often, to do different makeup things. So she asked me to find her a makeup mirror for the times where she needed to get ready at my apartment. I took a look at some of them and wanted something kind of compact that could be put away when not in use.
I chose this one because it could be powered by USB or by batteries. Also, I noticed that some of the cheaper ones only had two light strips on the sides, whereas this one had the light strip all around the mirror. I think this should be giving a much more even light onto the face.
Operation - There’s a switch on the back. After you turn it on, you can hold the power button down to increase or decrease the light intensity. It is bright! I don’t think she will be complaining about poor lighting after she uses this.
The back stand folds down, so I can lay down the entire mirror flat and put it away when it’s not in use.
