I hate cleaning the microwave, but it’s a necessary evil. It’s difficult to get to all of the different spots, and I always miss something that for whatever reason becomes glaringly obvious when a guest asks to use my microwave. It’s one of those things that I think about every time I open the microwave and promptly forget as soon as I close it. I have purchased so many food covers in the past and start out with good intentions. But at some point, they get in the way. I take them out to accommodate a larger or taller dish, they get set to the side and forgotten. This idea allows for all of that. My microwave is always clean, and when I don’t want to use it, it sticks to the top with the magnets. Perfect. It is raised so it allows for air flow, so while a little moisture does build up on the top from steam, it helps circulate the air and dissipate the buildup. The only complaint I have is there are raised areas under the dome, I took a picture. Sharp, deep corners, and when food does splatter, it gets caught up there and it can be hard to clean those areas. A toothbrush was a little too large, so I found a tiny little bottle brush that fits up there and gets the corners clean. Great invention.
I removed one star because it doesn't attach securely to the top of my microwave. It might just be my microwave.
