I had an old pastry mat that my mother no longer used, it was Tupperware and great quality but unfortunately a month ago I decided to put it in the dishwasher and it didn't survive. After it melted together I knew it was time for a new one and this one is great. I'm not worried about the silicone melting in the dishwasher, the mat is a great size and premarked with measurement... in other words, just what I needed and a great product.
