I LOVE This!

This is my first thumb piano so I have nothing to compare it to. That being said, I absolutely love it! I love the rainbow affects you get from the acrylic base. It adds to the ambience and creates a peaceful fun experience. It’s very easy to learn and comes with a very small instruction booklet. You can google to get more songs and additional instructions to learn to play. The keys have the notes engraved on them but you also get stickers if you want to use them. I opted not to because I didn’t want to distract from the overall beauty of the Kalimba. The sound you get from this reminds me of the soft beautiful harmony of a harp. Even if you don’t know a song, and you just hit the keys randomly, it still sounds almost heavenly. I have this on my work desk, and when I get stressed I stroke a few keys and it’s almost instantly calming. I can see that something like this would be extremely helpful for adults and kids that are nervous and fidgety. You also get 2 little covers to put on your thumbs to keep them from getting sore. I haven’t had to use them because I use my thumb nails, but they are still nice to have just in case. The tuning hammer I’m sure is good, but honestly I don’t know what each key is supposed to sound like so until I get more experienced with this, I’ll just put that aside for now. You also get a soft wipe to keep your acrylic base nice and shiny. The handy protective carrying case is also great quality. I could go on and on about this beautiful Kalimba, it’s that good! With the holidays coming up, this is a very affordable fun gift for kids and adults alike. For my first Kalimba this is absolutely AWESOME!
