I had an older model Keurig. It lasted for quite awhile.The seal had started to fail so it was time for a new one. I decided to purchase the K Elite. This machine is push button, which I think I like better than the touch screen. It does have a descale button that I have not used, as the machine is new. To me, it's as noisy as the old. In fact, it may be even noisier per my husband. I use k cups that are not Keurig brands. #keurig
