This mermaid tail blanket is beautifully crocheted and the fit is perfect. I bought this to donate to the cancer treatment center in our area. One of my friends had cancer and it put a huge smile on her face to get one of these blankets from me. She has since passed away so in her honor I continue to buy and donate these. The patients love them. When you are getting chemo, your body becomes very cold. The hospital provides regular blankets that have to be tucked around your legs and feet, but with the mermaid tail you just slip it on. The blanket is open in the back so it is easy to put on and it goes around your legs and keeps your feet snuggly warm. These blankets are the best, I highly recommend them for yourself, friends and family and if you have a cancer center near you, please consider buying some of these and donating them to cancer patients. The smiles from grateful patients for your kind donation is well worth it and these blankets wash well and hold up to continual use.
