Currently nursing our elderly cat who gets very cold quickly. I place this heat mat underneath her fleece blanket and it does a fantastic job of keeping her snug and warm. The temp can be varied via the controller but the majority of the time she has it on the highest setting. The great thing about this particular heated mat is that its machine washable, it disconnects via the pull out controller. Washes well and I think it makes a good selling point.
