Now I am able to use my flash drive, HDMI and other peripherals with my mac.
The only thing I worry about is that the device gets very warm quickly, but I attribute that to the ic components that make this device functional.
Also making it of aluminum is very smart, as it not only matches the overall mac theme, it also helps to dissipate the heat generated.
