I am really happy with this charging port, it doesn't take away from the speed of charging two devices simultaneously and and I even have a split extension cord running from it with no problem. The cradle on the top of the charger is wide enough to accommodate a thick cased phone, a phone by itself is not a snug fit but does set in it securely. I am contemplating purchasing more of these for other rooms in my home. Great buy!
