Do not buy this if you live anywhere that freezes

I live in Upstate NY so we get snow a good 4-6 months of the year. This is the first year in several years where I've had my own car so I thought this would be a good buy. I was very very wrong. I used it once and when I went to remove it the next morning, one of the elastic straps snapped. I then looked on amazon to see if it was a fluke and maybe I should just get another one. Nope, everyone that lived in a place that actually gets below freezing had issues. A LOT of people complained about the cotton lining freezing to their car so badly that they had to rip the entire thing apart to remove it. Luckily, that didn't happen to me, but I wasn't about to try it again but after those reviews, I sent it right back.
