I got this with the intention of my kids being able to build things themselves. It's a fun building toy, lots of uses and plenty of pieces included, but be prepared to build everything for your kids. It was extremely difficult to get the poles pushed into the holes on the balls. My hands hurt after just a short while of trying to put a simple structure together. The poles are also pretty flimsy, as my 4 year old bent one in half trying to get it shoved into a ball. But if you have the patience and strength to put together a dome, cover it with a blanket, and the kids will have a blast!
