Great for videography

I have been searching for ways to improve my video recording for when I am doing unboxing videos or product reviews/demonstrations. I have tried a few different methods for recording, using tripods, phone holders, and clip on desk/table arms. But I always have to set up my lighting seperately to make it work the way I want, while propping my microphone on another tripod or contraption on the desk. I thought maybe this set up would allow me the chance to hook them all up together on one simple structure.   The entire structure is a rectangular device with numerous points to attach different components through hotshoe attachments. It can also be held in your hands instead of mounting to a tripod if you want more control over the angles or want to move things around. But for my set up, I always use a tripod or something that allows me to keep it stationary while filming. For me, I have mounted this to a tripod that I can set up at various heights, or set up at the lowest height on the table top. I can then put my phone in the middle and add lighting to the top on one side and the mic on the top on the other, both being out of the view of the camera, but close enough to be able to make good recordings.   The phone holder in the center is a clip style that allows you to place your phone in it, then slide the ends shut to hold it tight. It has a screw on piece in the back that locks it in place. It is easy to secure your phone while recording, yet just as simple to remove the camera when you are finished.   I do caution you - when you have everything mounted on it, it does get much heavier. I had to make sure the entire set up on my tripod was tightly secured. The first few tries, it pulled itself sideways and threatened to tip over, until I was able to lock it down tight enough to hold everything. But after that it worked flawlessly. I had no problems with using it and was impressed with how my videos turned out.   Overall, this is a great addition to my videography set up.
