I have been buying those disposable cotton rounds to remove my makeup and clean my face. I realized that they were just not working for me any longer. Not only were they creating a lot of unnecessary waste, but they were costing me a lot more money than I wanted to spend. I started researching my options for something that was not only reusable but also a more natural option. I found this set of reusable makeup remover pads from ProCIV.

The set comes with 16 pads which are made from natural and organic bamboo cloth. Each pad measures 3 ¼ inches wide and is double layered. The pads have a super strong surged hem around the entire edge of the pad. They are very soft and can last for over 1000 uses. The set also comes included with a mesh, zippered laundry bag so the pads do not get lost in the washer or dryer. I lay my pad over a towel rack until it dries, then I put it in the bag and when the bag is full, I simply toss them in with my other delicates to wash and tumble dry on low heat. I do not use any type of fabric softeners on these pads. I also use a natural dye and fragrance-free laundry detergent to wash them in.

These pads do a phenomenal job of cleaning my face and removing my makeup. Even waterproof mascara and lipsticks are easily removed with very little cleanser. I also use them to freshen up my daughter’s face during the day instead of using baby wipes. I am definitely ordering myself a few more sets of these reusable makeup remover pads.
