The set offers a variety of hook sizes, from 2.0mm up to 8.0mm including a chart listing their US letter counterparts as well. The handles are made of a thermoplastic rubber (TPR). To me, this helps to make it fairly firm, but a softness on that has helped hold off the pain that flairs up with my arthritis when working. Some of the TPR is a bit misshapen at the bottoms of the hooks, but it does not interfere with the functionality of the hooks. I absolutely love the variety of bright colors that make it easy to look for which hook I need also!
