I have 3 dogs, 3 goats and 2 cats. I have the funny farm anyway I have yellow labs let me tell you there hair is everywhere. I used this and man o man it not only took out the extra coat that's loss it make them look like they had been  to the bath and groomers I found this to be one of the best I have use. It is a click for it to brush then click again and all the hair falls right off to the trash not pulling extra hair out and messing with it this is made for anyone who want to keep there pups look fabulous and dont want to worry about cleaning the brush I want a few more I think I may order few for family members with ouo it is worth very penny spent on it and it wont poke anyone because when you close it the brush it nice and flat
