With all of the activities we do and the amount of hydration bladders we have, it helps to have some extra pieces. I picked up this bite valve replacement to go on one of our hydration bladders that seems to be in need of a new bite valve.
It is made using medical grade silicone and is well constructed. The connection to the water pipe has an outside diameter of about 0. 33 inch. It is designed to fit a 0. 29-0. 33 inch inner diameter water pipe. It was actually a lot easier to install than I thought it would be. I was afraid I would ruin our water bladder hose, but it worked flawlessly.
This was the easiest and quickest way to fix a bad mouth piece on a perfectly good hydration bladder. It is low cost, so I think I may pick up a few extras for future change outs on other bags we have. Great product and a must if you use hydration bags and water bladders.
