Great ice packs!

My husband has been using the same old ice packs in his lunchbag every day for the past 10+ years. These things are older than our marriage! And they are looking pretty old and crusty by now. He wraps them with paper towels each day, as if that helps. I was determined to find him something new, something that wouldn't embarass me if I was seen with him in public sharing a lunch from his bag...   But in all seriousness, this set is looking promising. It has six different ice packs in them, all made from BPA free silicone. I didn't see any holes, dents, or flaws in them. You can't hear the liquid inside sloshing around, which means they should freeze evenly. I hate when they don't freeze evenly and you have a spot that is not as chilled as others, so am glad to see these are good quality.   They were a little smaller than I thought they would be though. I was thinking they might cover the entire bottom of his monstrously oversized lunch bag. I guess they would fit a normal person's lunch bag no problem. My husband is going to have to use two on bottom, but that's okay because you get six in this package - 2 of each color!  He can layer his bag 3 deep with these which is far better than the nasty paper towel wrapped ones, that now that I think of it, are actually about the same size.   Definitely a step up for my husband's lunches. And just think - now maybe we can take that house-sized lunch bag of his out on a family picnic without me hiding inside it when he pulls out his ice packs!
