Perfect fit for Instant Pot LUX60V3 V3 6 Qt 6-in-1

To be honest this wasn't my first choice since I could get one cheaper than this but without extra sealing ring. What convinced me is the video of another customer uploaded for this lid. Huge thanks to her, highly appreciated.

Just like the other customer I checked lids durability by filling pot with water and turning it upside down. Wow is all I can say. Not a single drop of water sipped from its sides. Why it's such a big deal for me? I have two little girls 2.5 and 6.5 yo and when they want something from the fridge without asking or help things can get really messy. Food get knocked off the shelves and spill and I had a pot of soup once all over the floor. Yeah, that was not fun, I was cleaning up the mess and crying. I am 22 weeks pregnant atm and it's getting challenging for me to bent over to clean up things after kids so I am investing in all sorts of new durable containers for food to make things less stressful and easier for me.

Lid feels heavy and thick, it appears to be made of silicone. Compared to hard plastic cover that pops over the pot right away this one you need to work your way around it to have it snagly fit. Yes, it takes extra seconds and effort but it's so worth it.

This lid not only prevents food from spilling but keeps it fresh longer, prevents from spoiling fast since it's basically air tight and my rice and buckwheat don't dry out! Also I can place plate with leftovers on top of the lid and it doesn't deform or sink in. With the plastic cover I couldn't put anything on it.

I am so glad I chose this set because the sealing ring is an exact replica of the one in Instant Pot. While ago I bought 4 extra sealing rings for my pot, I haven't tried them on yet but compared to this lid and ring they are low quality and thicker. Those arrived all twisted and tossed in a small bag and don't have nice a round shape. Why do you need an extra sealing ring? With time just like in any container whether it's for coffe/drink, food/soup they start to smell unpleasant and in this case if you are planing to bake cake in an Instant Pot you certainly don't want your cake smell like stew you cooked last time in it. I highly recommend switch them around just like with cutting boards. I have separate ones for meat, fish, veggies, and fruits not to mix up odors.

Buy with confidence, trust me you will not be disappointed. Price wise it's worth it considering you are getting 2 quality items and if bought separately would cost more.
