I'm not a beer drinker, but I like my sodas very cold. I put these in the freezer and put them down in my coke bottle and it almost turned slushy. I used a straw because I didn't like drinking out of the top of the sticks. The instructions say to remove the top of the sticks before you put them into the freezer, but I couldn't get them loose. They still worked great for what I needed.
