The light is bright enough to use as a night light but not enough to light the room. Very clear sound, nice base and treble, gets louder and softer as movie changes scenes. It’s not too bright and it’s quick to adjust with a simple touch. You can also easily play songs through your phone. We charged it for a couple hours and it lasts several nights before the next charge. I am very happy with the speaker and think it is a great deal for the price it is listed at.
