I purchased this Gizwise Tactical Backpack Diaper Bag for my cousin's baby shower. She is a camo fan and owns a ton of camo clothes. I thought this neat diaper bag would be a great accessory for all her baby necessities. She rides horses and will continue riding after the baby is born so this diaper bag will be perfect since it can be worn like a backpack. I really like how it is insulated and has the waterproof outer material.
The diaper bag has a long double zipper at the top opening. When you open the bag you will notice bars around the top to help keep it open. Inside the bag is 1 large deep compartment with several pockets and zippers. On the inside back there is 1 small flat zippered pocket and at the bottom is the outer zipper where you can enter the backpack from the outside without opening the top. Both inside sides have deep pockets with elastic around the tops. These pockets are perfect for bottles or sippie cups. On the inside front side of the diaper bag are 2 shallow pockets with elastic top, which are great to hold pacifiers, thermometers, medicines or diaper rash meds.
On the outside of the diaper bag are 2 short handles and backpack straps. On the front of the bag is a zippered pocket which has 3 pockets and 1 mesh net inside it. This pocket is great for items you need to get to quickly like baby bottles or snacks, but it could be used for your car keys or cell phone. On the outer sides of the diaper bag are pockets that would hold bottle water, baby bottles, Gerber puffs or your cell phone. One of the pockets has a slit in it made to hold diaper wipes that come in packages that have sticky tape on the top to open and shut it. I would store my baby wipes inside the bag so they wouldn't dry out, but it is a good idea.
On the back of the diaper bag is a zipper on the bottom half of the bag. I love this idea since you can open the bag and remove items from your bag without having to open up the whole bag. This works great if your diapers are under everything and make them easy to get to. You could also put extra cloths on the bottom just in case you need to change your child and could pull them out without having to empty the bag to find the cloths.
Overall the bag is designed great and the seems are all secure. The large zipper on the top has a little catch, but hasn't caused any problems. My cousin says she loves it and can't wait to use it!
