I've used clip on macro lenses for my cell phone before and I've never really been that impressed with them. The macro quality was no better than my phone's built in zoom and the fish eye always left a weird black border around the photos. BC Master's lens kit is COMPLETELY different! Yes, it's still a clip on. But it's not a crap lens system and the macro is TONS better than my Note 5's built in zoom. (Look at the pictures. The small screw is my phone's zoom alone, and the big screw is the macro lens. The fish eye/wide angle lens is nice as well. There isn't a black border and the expected curving isn't as pronounced as I had feared.
The lens itself has some heft to it. Thankfully it comes in a nice padded carrying case. I accidentally knocked it off the table and it landed on my foot. The lens kit is undamaged (The case didn't even get scratched!) but my foot knows something happened. The case, with the kit in it, is about the size and weight of a McDonald's cheeseburger, but the lens itself is only about 2.5 inches in diameter.
The macro lense is always used and the wide angle lens just screws on or off from the macro. The wide angle has a nice lens cap, with a push button release, to protect it.
