This is a great throw blanket for spring and fall. It is not a thick blanket. It is great for cuddling up with on the couch. It is incredibly soft and very warm. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know if the fleece pills or not. However I love how soft it is right now. I'll update as I use it longer.
