OMG. It actually works like the videos say it should. I mean, everything is so simple. I love doing onions now because I just spiralize them then take a few swipes with a knife and viola! I placed the round firm vegetable in the teeth and remembered to use the metal pick to stabilize vegetables by poking the veggie on the opposite side of the teeth end. Turn and watch the swirl. One blade must be mounted for storage. It is a compat unit cleans up with a sponge. Just wipe immediately if you are shredding carrots, beets or anything that can stain. Warning, listen up, the blades are sharp. Very sharp. So if you want to spiralize, get this one. It's a treasure
