I got this for a friend who has a special needs grandson, he has a spectrum disorder that involves a lot of anxiety. this blanket is just enough weight for him to feel comforted without feeling like it is too much/like he is smothered. I have found these blankets are great for children with special needs, as I have also bought one before for my godchild who also really really loves hers. I would recommend this to anyone with a special needs child that has anxiety, or just general problems sleeping at night. Worth every penny to make a child feel comfortable and safe in their own bed at night, great investment!
